About Helen
I believe it’s my calling to help people tell their story.
After writing three of my own books, a 15-year career in journalism, and then a five year high-stress stint of running my own PR business, the urge to do something worthwhile started to creep up on me. In all those three careers, the common denominator has been developing and articulating stories.
Then I came across a question – when attending a leadership workshop – which deeply resonated with me.
The question: What’s the gift you’re called to give?
The question hovered in my consciousness for weeks until eventually I realised, my gift is articulation. I have always known writing is my gift. But until now, my gift had not been put to altruistic use. I pursued journalism for by-lines. Books to get my story on bookshelves. Developing thought leadership for CEOs to make into industry names – none of which seemed to make the world a better place.
And so it came to me that my gift can be given through ghostwriting and writing coaching.
I took the decision to reduce my involvement in my business Thought Leadership PR so I can personally ghostwrite for people who have a positive story to tell, but who don’t have the time or skill to bring it alive.
Whether you have an inspirational story which can benefit others, or you want to chronicle your life to pass to your family for legacy, I know it’s my calling to help you do that.

Speaking
The perk of being an author is that I am often asked to deliver informative and inspirational talks and take part in debates.
I’ve done lots on the changing trends of modern relationships (because of my first two books!) – well who doesn’t love to ponder about love? I’ve also done plenty of inspirational talks about transcending from glam city girl to tough outdoorsy triathlete (thanks to my latest book!).
But more recently I’ve been using my media expertise to talk give talks about pitching to the media, PR strategy and thought leadership.
